Does asking about Official Partnership reserve a Category?

An inquiry is not a reservation

If you contact East Texas Locals about becoming an Official Partner, that conversation by itself does not hold the Category for your Business.

The same applies to expressing interest or submitting information for consideration.

Until the Category reaches the formal reservation point in the ETL partnership process, its availability should not be assumed to be locked to a particular Business.

When the Category becomes reserved

East Texas Locals reserves an approved Official Partner Category when ETL sends the Business its formal Partnership Offer for that Category.

That is the point where ETL has deliberately committed the Category to the active partnership opportunity.

A conversation or request before that point is not the same thing as a reservation.

Reservation, payment, and active Partner status are separate steps

A Category being reserved does not mean payment has already been completed, and it does not by itself mean the Business is already an active Official Partner.

Those are separate parts of the partnership process:

Interest or inquiry → formal Partnership Offer and Category Reservation → payment/settlement → active Official Partner relationship

Each step represents something different.

Don’t assume a Category is being held

If a particular Partner Category is important to your Business, do not assume it is reserved simply because you have spoken with ETL about it.

Your Partnership Offer and the current status of the opportunity are the better indicators of where you are in the process.
