How do I request Official Partner consideration for my Business?
If you manage a Business in East Texas Locals, you can use that Business’s Official Partner page to choose an available Category and ask ETL to consider the Business for Official Partnership. Sending a request starts ETL’s review; it does not reserve the Category, create a Partnership Offer, or approve the partnership.
Requesting consideration from a signed-in Business
If you manage a Business in East Texas Locals, open that Business’s Official Partner page when you want ETL to consider the Business for an available Official Partner Category.
The request is connected to the Business you are managing. You do not need to create another Business record or re-enter the Business identity ETL already has.
If you are not signed in to a Business, the public Official Partner inquiry is still available. Both paths let you tell ETL you are interested. The signed-in path simply connects the request to the Business that already exists in ETL.
Choose the Category you want ETL to consider
The request page shows the Categories ETL can currently accept Official Partner requests for.
If one of your Business’s existing Categories is available, you can select it from the Business Categories section. You can also explore other available Official Partner Categories.
A Category marked Not currently available cannot be selected for a new request.
Category availability can change. Seeing a Category as available does not mean it has been reserved for your Business.
Confirm the contact information for this request
The request includes a contact name, phone number and email so East Texas Locals knows who to contact about the opportunity.
When ETL already has usable contact information, the form may fill it in for you. Review it before sending the request.
The contact information on this form belongs to this Official Partner request. Changing it here does not silently change the Business Profile.
Send the request
After you select an available Category and confirm the contact information, choose Send request.
A successful submission means ETL received the request for review.
If the same Business already has an active request on file for that Category, ETL may tell you that the request is already on file instead of creating another one.
If the Category becomes unavailable before your request is completed, refresh the available Categories and choose another Category if appropriate.
What sending a request does not do
Sending an Official Partner request does not:
- reserve the Category;
- create a Partnership Offer;
- approve the Business as an Official Partner;
- complete an agreement;
- take payment; or
- activate Official Partner status.
The request is the beginning of ETL’s review, not the end of the partnership process.
What happens after the request is sent
East Texas Locals reviews the request and may contact the Business about the opportunity.
If ETL decides to move forward, the later Partnership steps are handled separately. A formal Partnership Offer is not created merely because the request was submitted.
The Category is not considered reserved just because you asked about it or sent a request. The formal Partnership process determines when a Category becomes reserved.
If your Business already has an Official Partnership in progress, use the Official Partner page for that Business to follow the current partnership instead of starting another request.
Public inquiry versus a Business-linked request
Use the signed-in Business request when the Business already exists in your ETL account and you have access to manage it.
Use the public inquiry when you are not signed in to a Business or are simply asking ETL about Official Partnership from the public site.
Neither path guarantees approval, and neither path by itself reserves a Category.
