How to search the Help Center

Use Help search to quickly find articles about the East Texas Locals feature, question, or problem you’re trying to understand.

Start with a few simple words

If you already have an idea of what you need help with, searching is usually the fastest place to start.

Use the search box in the Help Center and enter a few words that describe your question. You don’t need to know the exact name of an East Texas Locals feature.

For example, you might search for:

  • manager if you need help with your Business team or an invitation;
  • category if you’re trying to understand how Categories work;
  • coverage area if you have a question about where your Business can appear;
  • membership if you’re looking for information about your Business membership or available features;
  • Featured or Official Partner if you want to understand one of those programs; or
  • business access if you’re having trouble reaching a Business connected to your account.

Search looks through the information associated with the Help articles available to you and returns the articles that most closely match what you entered.

If the first search doesn't help

Try changing the words you use rather than writing a long question.

For example, if “How do I let my employee help with my business?” doesn’t give you what you need, try a simpler search such as manager, team, or invitation.

You can also make a search broader or more specific:

  • Search Official Partner for general information.
  • Search Official Partner payment if your question is specifically about payment.
  • Search Category for the general topic.
  • Search Official Partner Category if that is the part you are trying to understand.

If you still aren’t finding the right article, you can browse Help by topic instead.

What Help search does—and doesn't—search

Help search looks for Help articles. It does not search through your private Business information, account details, billing records, support requests, or other customer data.

That means search can explain how something generally works, but it cannot tell you something specific about your own account—for example, why your particular Business has a certain status.

If your question depends on your specific account or Business and the Help articles don’t resolve it, you can use East Texas Locals Support for direct assistance.

No results?

Getting no results doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t information that can help.

Try a shorter or more general search, browse the available Help topics, or see “Search returned no results” for additional suggestions.
