When to use Help and when to contact Support
Use the Help Center for general questions about East Texas Locals. Contact Support when you need help with something specific to your account or Business.
Start with Help for general questions
The Help Center is designed to answer questions that apply to East Texas Locals customers in general.
It’s a good place to learn how Business Profiles work, understand Categories and Coverage Areas, compare Featured with Official Partner, learn about Owner and Manager roles, or troubleshoot a common problem.
For those types of questions, you usually don’t need to contact anyone first. Search Help or browse the available topics and there may already be an article that explains what you need.
Some questions need someone to look at your specific situation
Help articles can explain how East Texas Locals works, but they cannot determine what is happening inside your particular account or Business.
You may need Support when you believe you should have access to a Business but cannot reach it, something connected to your Business appears incorrect and you cannot resolve it, you have a question about your specific Membership or billing, or you need help with an Official Partner payment or relationship status.
If the problem depends on information that is unique to you or your Business, that is usually a good sign that Support is the better option.
What to include in a support request
Give us enough information to understand what you’re having trouble with. When it applies, include the Business name, a short description of what you expected to happen, what you are seeing instead, and anything you already tried.
Please do not include passwords, full payment-card information, security codes, or other sensitive credentials in a support request.
If you’re signed in, the East Texas Locals Help and Support experience provides a way to submit a support request when the Help Center isn’t enough.
